Likes- Loves - Happies

So this is not a "designer blog". Don't get me wrong i LOVE reading them, borrowing from different friend's fashion sense (and pulling it off as my own). But when it comes to color palates or coordination or anything similar to that - I CRINGE!!! I cannot see the diamond in the rough and i am EXTREMELY indecisive! Mostly, when pertaining to fashion or home decor, i would much rather pick four things i like and have someone tell me which would look best...is that bad? i blame ADD... Nonetheless today, on my drive to work, i randomly thought about some things i have enjoyed this week.
SO i decided to make a list.... designer blog-ish... about the things i LIKE - LOVE - and that made me HAPPY this week...but not as a designer blogger!

"INC TEMPO"PEN!
I straight up stole this junt from my husband.
The tip is just right (pointy but not too sharp!)
The ink is JET BLACK and SMMMOOOOTTHHH (this is a big selling point for me)
The barrel is skinny with a little grippy thing...
And I think the pen came from walgreens of all places...(cheap!)
My husband will never get it back.

MY CHURCH



Last weekend my church had a Christian Life Conference. It so sweet because upon entering the church I really thought to myself that Second Pres was starting to feel like home... and THEN the conference was about "the church"!
I haven't even gone there for a year and already i have met so many people and friends. I love our pastors and i LOVE the traditional service. Some people have a hard time with it but it helps me to have reverence for God every Sunday. Before i got married i went to the same church since SECOND GRADE so i didn't expect to feel so comfortable so soon but maybe that's a testimony of how awesome of a church it is ;)

Tez and i are trying to get more involved and so far it's been awesome. We are in a young married couple Christian Basics group. ALL of the couple are great but there are two couple's who we really look up to, we are excited about getting to know them better! In the group we discuss last Sunday's sermons which helps what was preached the Sunday before marinate in your soul for the week. No longer do i think to myself "ummm what was last week's sermon about?"
It's cool.

LASTLY

HAPPY:

Yesterday my Bloom group met [three girls from church- me included- meet with an older lady from church once a month- i feel weird saying "older" she is not much older and AWESOME! but it's sort of the idea found in Titus - older women teaching the younger] anyways not only does SHE COOK FOR US every time we go to her house (talk about happiness!) BUT she also made us a CHOCOLATE PIE last night. Her mother-in-law's recipe (i love a good recipe with a story!)
A few words that come to mind while consuming this pie - Heaven...choclatey goodness...euphoria
It blew Perkins French silk pie OUT OF THE WATER! I'll post the recipe later b/c you better BELIEVE I'm giving this pie a go!
