NERD ALERT!

I overheard someone say that blogging is for angry people. If you knew who said it you would probably find the humor in that comment... but I'm not one to call people out. Let's just say it was a Pastor...

Normally I would disagree... but today... I post about how I am STICKING IT TO THE MAN!

You see, we live in a day and age where technology is ever changing...

You buy something and a week later they have already upgraded that something into something 10 times better 10 times faster for the same price you paid for the outdated version

(I'm not even gonna TELL ya how much I spent on THAT thing)

I just can't keep up with it! And yes, I utterly acknowledge that I am sounding a bit like a grandma... you kids with your tweeting and tumbling and pinning....

So IMAGINE the utter disappointment of getting a Nook Color and then 3 months later... oh wait... what is that? a NOOK TABLET? For JUST AS MUCH AS THE NOOK COLOR?!

BBBBarrrnnnneess and NOooobbllleeesss!!!!

So when I found out you can hack your Nook Color to make it into a Tablet I had no reservations...

Now that I have a freshly hacked Nook color I can download the kindle app as well as the BN app...

Now when I want to buy a book on my e-reader and I see that they are selling it on BN for $9.99 and then on amazon for $9.68 I gleefully purchase it on Amazon

And pat myself on the back for sticking it to THE MAN

You may say: "Tatiana! it's only 31 cents!!!"

And I say: "It's the principle!"
