Fridays make me breath easier...that and claritin...

Hello all! What a week it has been! With my allergies going cray cray this week I am thankful to have the weekend to look forward to!

However, this weekend is pretty jam packed which means I shall be poppin the claritin's like they're tic-tacs, stuffing my bra full of Kleenex' and running around like a chicken without a head...

2 Things I'm looking forward to this week:

First thing:
My sweet friend Emilie is celebrating her day of birth tonight!

This merrymaker is throwing the bash. The theme is 27 dresses and we are encouraged to wear any prom/fancy/bridesmaid dress to the bash.
Unfortunately all of my dresses are sizes 0-4 which I can no longer zip up but THAT DON'T MEAN I CAN't BRING THE FANCY! I am soooo excited about what I put together! Pictures to come.

I got all nostalgic this am and collected some facebook photo's of Emilie and I throughout the ages. She is one of my friends who I love the dearest. She is FUN to be around, gets me, and is the most compassionate person I have ever met.

I shared a room with Em for about a year and it was quite the shocker after marrying and moving in with Tez realizing that it wouldn't be like living with Emilie. Shocker? I know, that may sound wierd but there was this one time I told Tez I was sick and he was like... Oh, sorry. Whereas EM would have been like: What hurts? Is it more headache or throat ache? ok, so you need an anti-inflammatory. Very nurturing like.

But they do say pictures are worth a thousand words so without further ado:

The 2nd thing I am excited about:
Tim Keller is speaking at the 2PC World Mission Conference

If you are in town drop by Second Pres to hear what Tim Keller has to say. I've really grown a lot from his books and am currently helping lead a bible study for some sorority girls at the U of M using his book Counterfeit God's.

Speaking of Tim Keller and Emilie, what do you know:

Yes meeting Tim Keller was just about as awkward as that picture looks. Let's just say I was as SUPER ecstatic about meeting him as he was humble....sigh
